Greetings from the farside of nowhere
« on: July 07, 2016, 04:29:57 PM »

Hi, I am Larry

I am a contrarian, not the sharpest tack in the box and head strong.
I tend to always be going the other way.
I like people who can help and dislike people who are snipers.
I have been in software since the early 70's when I was sent to Bell Labs
on a rotational assignment.
I wrote and taught the Unix and C courses for AT&T in Lisle Ill.

I have little formal education in computers since most of the time I was there before the training.

You will find over time that I follow the beat of a different drum.

If any of this puts you off - go away.

If not - stay and help me dig out of my latest hole whatever that might be.

Now for the obvious questions:
Why another distro?
    Because I wanted to
Why another compiler?
    Because I wanted to
Why are you such an ass?
    Because I am

Any other questions?
